Individual programs may differ slightly as many have moved to a “competency-based” admissions requirement system in recent years. However, you can expect that most programs will have very similar minimum requirements:

A bachelor’s degree or equivalent from an accredited college or university.

-One year (two semesters) of Chemistry, Biology, Physics, Organic Chemistry, and English.

-At least one semester of Mathematics is usually highly recommended (some may specify Statistics or Calculus)

-Most programs in the US will require that you have taken the MCAT, unless you are applying through a post-baccalaureate premedical program with which they are affiliated.

A comprehensive database of US medical schools’ individual admission requirements can be found here. You can (and should) also check out admission websites of specific programs you are interested in applying to.
